The special security unit "SSU" is one of the most special units of Sindh Police, Famous for its special Operation. "SSU" was inaugurated in 18 October 2010 by president "Asif Ali zardari". With the time "SSU" play very important role.Initially its number was 1000. Realizing the need and with time, today its number is 4,000.Mr. Maqsood Ahmed is the head of SSU and is performing duties in SSU as the Commandant.Due to SSU's innovative and dynamic leadership, it has also been given command at the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Elite Police Training Center.
